We welcome you to these pages

The Windmill Alliance, Inc., is a private, non-profit corporation organized and sponsored by Trinity Parish in Bergen Point, Bayonne, New Jersey.

We hope that these pages will help you to learn about our programs, about how we help people in need, and about how you may be able to help us to continue and expand. The needs in our community are great, and we could never do anything to provide for those needs if we did not have the trust and support of so many.

Our Mission

The Windmill Alliance was established in 1985 as a private, non-profit organization dedicated to providing services for the handicapped and the disadvantaged. All services of the Windmill Alliance are initiated in partnership with other community organizations and through the efforts of volunteers from local churches and temples. Our services range from residential care for the developmentally disabled to job training and emergency assistance to the poor.

Windmill Alliance, Inc. Profile

The Windmill Alliance possesses a current 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service, and is registered as a charitable organization with the NJ Department of Community Affairs. The Windmill Alliance is supported by the NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities, the NJ Department of Community Affairs, the Bayonne Community Development Block Grant, the City of Bayonne, the NJ State Council on the Arts/Hudson County Division of Cultural & Heritage Affairs, and other foundation, corporate and individual donations, sales and program fees.

Windmill Alliance, Inc. A Jubilee Center

The Episcopal Church, at every level, is taking steps to increase the effectiveness of the total ministry of congregations. The creation of the Jubilee Ministry in 1982 by the General Convention in New Orleans heralded a new era of work for the Episcopal Church. Since then, Jubilee has emerged as a broad avenue of over 700 community-based outreach programs across the county and Puerto Rico. The Windmill Alliance, Inc. is now once such Jubilee Center.

We do nothing to people or for people, we minister with people. Our programs address homelessness and abandonment with housing and care, we address poverty and poor self-esteem through the dignity and responsibility of work, and we address hopelessness with the joy of music.
