Windmill Alliance, Inc.

Since the beginnings of the Windmill Day Center in 1985, the Windmill Alliance, Inc. has been dedicated to serving those most in need in our community.

We grew from serving 9 clients in the Windmill Center alone to nearly 2,000 every year combined with our Social Service Program at HIGHWAYS. Our budget grew from $25,000 a year to nearly $2 million a year. Our programs are:

• The Windmill Center, an adult day training program serving nearly 40 developmentally disabled adults every day
• The Supervised Apartments, housing 14 residents with multiple physical and developmental challenges 24/7
• HIGHWAYS, a multi-service program providing crisis intervention, emergency food pantry, thrift shop, job training, counseling and life coaching

The Windmill Alliance is a private, non-profit organization. The Windmill Alliance possesses a current 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service, and is registered as a charitable organization with the NJ Department of Community Affairs. The Windmill Alliance, Inc. is non-sectarian. All people are welcomed without discrimination. No religion is promoted; all are respected.
